300 Years of Violin Music

This pedagogical series gives a rich selection of violin music ranging from the 17th century through the 19th century. It is both a historical anthology and a violin repertory for students. Each volume represents an era or school in the history of violin music. The works — individual pieces or selected movements from larger compositions — are intended for violin pupils at an intermediate level.
