Thesaurus Musicus
This early music series contains solo and chamber works by baroque and classical composers written for various stringed, wind and keyboard instruments. Ferenc Brodszky (1904-1974), who edited the volumes, mastered the authentic handling of several early instruments, and in 1931 – as the first such Hungarian initiative – he gave his first concert, entitled “Early music on early instruments”.- Bach: Six Sonatas for clarinet and bassoon (3517)
