Hungarian Children's Songs
The pioneers of Hungarian folk music research — primarily Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály — have helped to make widely known the basis of the folk music vernacular as exemplified in Hungarian Children's Songs. These songs have been arranged by some of the best Hungarian contemporary composers for various instrumental combinations and smaller chamber ensembles. The pieces help children to become acquainted with music and instruments in a playful and easy manner.- Hajdu: Hungarian Children's Songs for violoncello and piano (7015)
