EMB Concert Band Series
EMB’s publications for wind band are represented in this popular series. They include mainly works by 20th-century Hungarian composers; outstanding composers featured in the Concert Band Series are Frigyes Hidas (1928-2007), many of whose works have been written for wind instruments, Árpád Balázs (b. 1937), who is known chiefly for his choral works, and Kamilló Lendvay (b. 1928), who has been successful in many genres. These character pieces, dances, and fantasias written in different moods can be mastered by professional and amateur ensembles alike.
